Being predominately a location photographer, I do not have a “retail” space for clients to come to. If I did then I would have a plethora of product samples for review. Since that isn’t the case, rather than make physical sample products using images from client sessions, some time ago I decided two things:
- As much as possible I would photograph products that clients ordered before delivering them to the client
and
- For most “samples” of new or updated products, I would use images of my own children/family
What better way to show my clients the value and quality of a product, than to purchase it for my own home? When a client does come to my home office and newborn/baby studio I can show them around my home and they can actually “see” the products in use on my walls, table tops, etc.
With that being said, here are three wonderful products that are now available this year. For all of my “samples” I used images/sessions that I photographed in 2011 of my children and family. I still have a long list of sessions/images that have yet to be edited or printed and will be adding a few more of these products to our collection.
