You have seen this little babe just a *few* times now since she was born in early December.
With Mother’s Day this past weekend I gave myself a gift of 15 minutes of time and took just a few pics of my wee one (who is growing too fast!). At 5 months now she isn’t doing “much” when it comes to mobility. In fact, she just officially rolled over for the first time yesterday. She is obviously in no hurry to get moving and that is okay wonderful with me! As a mom who is just about 99% sure this is the last baby of our family, I am soaking up all of these first moments that are happening with her, because it is the last time I will ever get to do that. Her firsts are my lasts and every day I realize how bittersweet that is. It is wonderful to watch her grow and develop and there has never been a time in my life I have been more thankful for my talent, skill and career.
Long before I was a mother, photography was very important to me personally and it was a natural progression into a career. Now, as a mother of three daughters, I see even more the importance and value of my career choice. Years down the road when my girls are growing faster than I can keep up, I will ALWAYS have these moments to look back on. Thanks for letting me share!
